Solar Path is seeking applications for the full-time post of an Electrical Apprentice for residential and commercial solar PV installations, covering the Munster region.
Solar Path is a Solar PV company based in Cork. We are seeking amotivated Electrical Apprentice (minimum Phase 3) to join our growing solar installation team. This role is ideal for someone who already has hands-on site experienceand is looking to develop further in the fast-growing renewable energy sector.
You’ll work alongside qualified electricians and installers on domestic and commercial solar PV systems, gaining real-world experience across installation, testing, and commissioning.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, have a strong sense of pride in the quality of their work and show a willingness to grow the role as they attain full qualification

Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation of solar PV systems,including panel connections, inverters, EV chargers and electrical connections
Support electricians in wiring, containment, and system setup
Carry out basic fault finding and testing support
General electrical upgrade works in preparation for installations
Work safely on-site, adhering to all health & safety standards
Assist with maintenance and upgradesof existing systems
Exhibit professional appearance and conduct while providing a world-class customer experience.
Ensure on-time arrival to daily customer appointments.
Maintain and manage adequate inventory levels of product and equipment.
Explain and provide detailed system capabilities and operational instructions to customers.
Clean all installation debris in each home after all service and installation visits.
Accurately complete necessary paperwork, including RECI and SEAI.
Requirements:
Completed Phase 2 or more of your electrical apprenticeship.
Safe Pass, Manual Handling and Working at Heights certification is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided.
Full clean driving licence is desirable but not essential
